A Temple For The Mind

"Wikipedia is something special. Such as a library or a public park. As a place for all of us to go to think and learn ..."

"Wikipedia is founded in 15 January of 2001, as a  nonprofit Internet encyclopedia, which is prepared jointly by many languages, free, independent and ad-free.

Co-founder Jimmy Wales, defined Wikipedia as "An occupation for every human being on Earth  to create and distribute a free encyclopedia in their own language, on highest quality"

Every topic in Wikipedia has been written by the standart of GNU which every author forsakes its copyrights. And also other authors can edit and develop the related topic. Every post in Wikipedia gets into the public domain.

All Wikipedias are available on 284 languages. There are nearly 18 million topics in total.

In 2006, in the United States on a court,  Wikipedia has used as a reference. Canadian Parliament presented Wikipedia Article about marriage between same sex people, as a document for Legal Marriage Law. Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has cited Turkish Wikipedia on a statement about headscarf.

Wikipedia works like an open source software. Writers constantly develops it. Because of this, this miraculous system, that works like a temple, assumed to be never completed in time.
