Telegraph had came to Turkey. Galatasaray's elite students refused to become telegraph clerks but Darussafaka has been called to the action and had turned into a school for science&telegraph in two years.
The country had an excess need of teachers. Darussafaka again were called into action aand became a school teacher training center in a very short time.
Civil bureaucracy directed Darussafa according to what it needs.
93 War broke out and thousands of immigrants came to Istanbul and children of immigrants were placed to Darussafaka.
After Earthquake in August 17, 41 students has been replaced without examination. A total of 78 children of some killed soldiers and police officers between 1997-2007, were accepted without examination.
After the painful event in Mardin Bilge village, Darussafaka has opened its doors to five children.
In Extraordinary General Assembly held in 2012, with the participation of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, not only Fatherless Children, but also motherless children would be accepted to the school. In the regulations "The Turkish-Islamic children" phrase has been replaced with "A Citizen of the Republic of Turkey"
